Phebian Swill

Actor of the Year

I can't really recall how I ended in the careers I find myself in. Because since childhood I kept on saying I would be a broadcast journalist and an actor. It ended up coming to reality. I think it is the will of God for my life.

Phebean Swill

Winner - Phebian Swill

It is one thing to be good at what you do, but to be exceptional takes a whole different level of consistency. Phebean Swill has consistently proven to be a top gun in the entertainment industry, having planted her name as one of the most famous TV personalities in the country, her boldness and versatility has carved a way for her to explore various forms of entertainment, and acting seems to be a perfect fit for the multi-talented young woman. Born on the 2nd January 1992 in Bo Southern District Sierra Leone, Phebean grew up with parents, Elizabeth Foray and Shefumi Swill, both former broadcasters at the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service (SLBS) television and radio at the time. No wonder why Phebe turned out to be a fantastic broadcaster, she took the noble footsteps of her parents and has made a name for herself in that light.

Amongst her many talents, she stood as one of the country’s best female MCs, having hosted several top notch shows and events in Sierra Leone. She proudly stands as a singer, broadcaster, and actor. A brilliant mind is how you will describe this cherry; she has served in the Sierra Leone Media industry for over 8 years now, and had worked as a DJ at the Lagoonda Night Club in 2012 claiming the spot as the only female DJ at that particular time in the country.
